COVID-19 Resource for Young Children

Using the Seesaw platform to connect with students online, fifth grade science teacher, Jon Polly, asked his students to create a COVID-19 resource for young children, specifically for their first grade buddies. Students were asked to answer the following questions:

  1. What is a virus?

  2. What is a coronavirus?

  3. How do we get infected by the coronavirus?

  4. What can we do to keep from getting infected?

  5. How does soap/washing our hands help to prevent infection?

  6. Why are we being asked to stay home?
